At Granite Credit Union, we are committed to being a good community citizen and to looking out for the health and well-being of our employees and members. We also take seriously our responsibility to always be there to provide financial products and services to our members. We have been following the COVID-19 situation carefully, and have implemented strategies and guidelines as requested by state and federal leaders to limit gatherings and practice social distancing.
In response, beginning Saturday, March 21st, we are temporarily adjusting branch operations as detailed below. We want to assure you that your money at Granite Credit Union is safe. No matter how volatile the economy becomes, or how widespread coronavirus reaches, you can take comfort in knowing Granite is always there:
Normal Lobby and Drive-up Hours of Operation:
These locations will remain fully open but will limit the number of people allowed inside the branch to comply with recommended gathering restrictions.
- Main – 3675 South 900 East
- Taylorsville – 3109 West 4700 South
- Midvale – 6799 South 900 East
- Riverton – 12538 Creek Meadow Road
- Salt Lake Schools (9:30am to 5:30pm) – 1283 East Zenith Avenue
Temporary Branch Closures:
The following locations will be temporarily closed as they are in high-traffic public areas: (ATMs at these locations will remain open and operational)
- Quarry Bend (Inside Walmart) – 9151 South Quarry Bend Drive
- Jordan Landing (Inside Walmart) – 7671 South 3800 West
- South Jordan (Inside Harmons) – 10507 South Redwood Road

We continue to learn more about COVID-19 and are carefully following the latest developments. We understand how important access to your financial information and accounts is, and we’re doing everything we can to keep all access channels open and available to you. Your money and the credit union is safe and we will take every reasonable precaution to protect you, our employees and our community during this uncertain time.
Currently all of our branch locations are open and we’re taking precautions to follow cleanliness and social distancing instructions from state and CDC officials. We’re rigorously and continuously cleaning and disinfecting high-traffic and highly touched areas of our offices. We’re limiting staff and encouraging staff who are able to do so, to work from home.
Many essential transactions and services can be completed online, on the phone and through our mobile app, and we encourage you to download our mobile app and to use and be familiar with these tools and resources. Also, please know that we’re here for you. If you’ve been impacted by coronavirus and need our help, please reach out to us to learn about financial assistance programs that may be available to you. If you’ve been impacted by COVID-19 and need our support, please know we are always there with assistance programs to help during times of need.
We encourage you to access your accounts online or use the Granite Credit Union Mobile app for convenient 24/7 access. From there, you can make payments, view transactions, check balances, find an ATM and much more. It may be easier and faster to manage your account online, especially given that call wait times may be longer than usual as we adapt to changing needs.
If you haven’t already enrolled in online access, we encourage you to do so right away; enroll now.
While keeping the health and safety of our members and employees in mind, we’re doing everything we can to keep branches and services open and available to our members. We will continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation and will provide updates as needed.
